 Yes,
several years invested in a new job, and a new family. Sleepless
nights with babies...ummm...I mean little divers. Countless
dirty diapers changed by hands previously caressed by saltwater
and trained to hold a pole spear. Ahhh...all good things come
to those who wait. Yes, the little divers are growing up and
sleeping through the night. Mrs. ScubaNW is rested and happy
to let her man go play on the weekends, and my job has graced
my pockets with a little dive money. And last, but by no means
the least, Dive Buddy Gary has been promoted. Yes, Dive Buddy
Gary is now Captain Gary, Commander of
the finest dive boat to motor the Pacific Northwest. The "Bull"
is a 21 foot beauty that loves the ocean. Launched in 2009,
she took us offshore throughout the '09 summer and is currently
showing us a great time in 2010. We have been dropping on all
the old dive spots...and have found some new rocks...with big
fish. Captain Gary has installed high end navigation and sonar
equipment. The electronics not only guides us with precision,
but also allows for bathymetric mapping. I've decided to share
one of our secret spots with you, just click on the map above
for a higher resolution image of our secret reef. I will be
posting updates periodically, sharing stories of our dive trips,
and showing pictures of big ling. Until then...Dive On.
